Within the scope of our gold refining and precious metals production operations, we aim to continuously improve our energy performance by adopting the effective, efficient and responsible use of energy resources.
Accordingly, we;
• regularly monitor and measure energy consumption and assess opportunities for improvement to enhance energy efficiency;
• foster the use of energy-efficient technologies, equipment, systems and innovative solutions that support energy performance;
• promote ensuring the availability of the information and resources required to improve energy performance;
• support the efficient use of natural resources and the wider adoption of practices that promote energy savings;
• prioritize practices that can contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions;
• integrate energy efficiency into our procurement, design, maintenance, production and other operational processes;
• uphold energy efficiency criteria while procuring products, equipment, services and systems that affect energy performance;
• promote the development of energy awareness and a culture of sustainability by increasing the energy awareness of our employees and stakeholders;
• comply with the applicable legal requirements and other applicable obligations relating to energy management; and
• regularly review our energy management system and continuously improve our energy performance and the effectiveness of our management system.
