Within the scope of our precious metals refining operations, we consider the protection of our information assets to be our fundamental responsibility.
We adopt an effective information security approach to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of customer information, financial data, production processes, analysis results, trade secrets, legal records and operational data.
Accordingly, we;
• Protect our information assets through a risk-based approach and continuously improve our security controls;
• Ensure the confidentiality, accuracy and continuity of critical operational data and sensitive information;
• Promote cybersecurity, access control, data protection and system security practices;
• Monitor, assess and manage information security risks through preventive measures;
• Make full compliance with the applicable legal regulations, contractual obligations and information security requirements a fundamental principle;
• Improve our employees’ information security awareness through training and awareness-raising activities;
• Foster a culture of secure information management together with our business partners and suppliers;
• Uphold the sustainability of secure and controlled information systems that support business continuity; and
• Continuously review our information security performance and adopt a continuous improvement approach.
In line with the principles of the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System, we continuously improve our information security approach and create a resilient and sustainable structure that inspires trust among our stakeholders by protecting our information assets.
As Garanti Refinery, we regard information not only as an asset that needs to be protected, but also as a strategic value that needs to be managed securely, and we work to protect the future through our responsible information management approach.
