Compliance with the General Legislation

We are among the leading institutions that have organized their entire infrastructure in accordance with the Communiqué on the “Procedures and Principles for the Operation of Refineries” (Communiqué No. 2023-1) issued by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Türkiye February 2023.

Official Operating Certificate

Following the successful completion of rigorous inspection processes, we became entitled to obtain the Gold Refinery Operating Certificate on August 22, 2024. We are one of the limited number of refineries in Türkiye holding this qualification.

Special Assay Office Authorization Certificate

Garanti Gold Refinery holds the Special Assay Office Authorization Certificate approved by the General Directorate of the Mint and Stamp Printing House under the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Türkiye. This authorization serves as assurance that the fineness determination and quality control processes for our products are carried out in accordance with official standards.

Full Integration with KMTS

Garanti Gold Refinery has achieved full compliance with the processes of the Precious Metals Tracking System (KMTS), coordinated by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Türkiye, in coordination with the relevant authorities. Production processes are carried out in accordance with the standards and criteria established by the competent regulatory authority.
